A little bit about me

Hi my name is Abby, I'm 20 years old and have been nannying for eight years, but I have always been a mom's little helper when I wasn't old enough to stay alone with the kids alone. My favorite activities are helping children learn shapes, numbers, and letters and also letting them explore the great outdoors.

A little bit about me

Hello!
A little bit about me :) I come from a large family of 7, being the second oldest, so I've been babysitting/"mommy helping" since I've been legally old enough to.. and I love it!! I've been a nanny/childcare provider for the past 6 years now. I have experience in all ages and especially with newborn-3yo. I absolutely love taking a part in all the fun milestones that come with watching/helping little ones grow :) some examples: I'm great with transitioning from liquids to solids, learning to walk, potty training, and developmental things like ABCs and 123s! I have been with some families from the time that their little one was born until they were off to pre-k! I love crafts, outdoors/nature, music and dancing. I'm really good at coming up with age appropriate activities to keep the children or babies occupied and stimulated (and a little less full of energy when mom & dad get home ;) I take lots of pictures and videos to send to parents which I have found they very much enjoy! I love how rewarding this career is and the connections that I make along the way. Ideally I prefer full-time and long-term positions. I'm very flexible and always open to negotiating. My rates are based on a few variables and expectations. I do light house cleaning, and have experience as a professional cleaner so I am also open to doubling as a house keeper if wanted/needed. I am pet-friendly with no allergies :) Although I've been educated for years in these areas, in the next 1-2 months I will be getting certified in CPR and First Aid and am currently enrolled into an online program for ECE. (Early childhood education and development) Which will eventually become a Bachelor's in ECE. Not only do I have a natural passion to work with infants/children but I take my job very seriously as I understand the level of trust and responsibility that comes with caring for someones child.
