A little bit about me

Hello and thank you for this opportunity. I have been caring for children all my life. I come from a family of nine children, me being that number nine. I first started babysitting my neighbors children as a teenager and then later babysitting a friends little boy that had seizures from basically birth until he was in about 1st grade. My mother was a retired nurse that specialuzed in OB/Gyn Labor and Delivery. So I learned many things by watching and doing. I was a licensed massage therapist for 9 years and my favorite clients were minors and seniors. I enjoy working with kids/children because they are totally honest and obsorb everything like a sponge. I enjoy helping to nuture, teach, and love them. I quess you would call me a baby magnet. I don't like to see them mistreated or abused, verbally, or physically. I have been the childcare provider for my now five grandchildren since 2015 to the present. As well as helped from time to time with my neighbors children. One of which is severely autistic. It's a joy being around children. They help to keep me alert and of course young. I learn from them as well as them learning from me. It's truly a pleasure and very rewarding.
