My childcare experience started when I was eight. My baby sister was born then, I loved helping my mom. I began babysitting my sister at an early age, and as soon as I could take the babysitting course I did. I babysat through high school and even into college. My freshman year at college I met a family and began babysitting for them. We hit it off, and I became their #1 babysitter. By the time I was a senior they offered me the opportunity to live in their home in exchange for nannying their children when they needed some extra help. I helped drive the kids places, prepared some meals, babysat when needed. I became very close to the family and we are still close to this day. Since that time my experiences with children has only grown, and has been quite unique! I teach gymastics to kids as young as 18 months up to 8 years old. I also taught Taekwondo to kids ages 2 to adult. I also was a Lead Preschool Teacher when I lived in California. When I moved back from California, I had a great opportunity to nanny for a family here in Matomedi. They had 3 kids, and I was with them for 3, almost 4 years. I started with them when their youngest was almost 1 and they no longer needed me when he was almost 5! I got pregnant and had my baby girl while I was with them, and it was such a great opportunity for me to be able to bring her with me. It was fun for them too! I love children, I feel very comfortable with all ages, and I can promise that your kids will be safe with me, they will have fun and I will provide healthy boundaries for them!

When I was 13 years old I started babysitting for a local excerise club. My Mom ran an in-home daycare where I assisted regularly. I babysat for many local families and for the daycare families. I was a part-time nanny for one of the daycare families so the children could spend some time at their own home. For the past 8+ years I have been a private family nanny both full and part time. I worked 3 years a sign language interpreter in the school districts.

I began my childcare experience when I was two and got a little sister, I would feed her and help my mom change her diapers and help feed her. When I was in high school I worked at an infant and toddler childcare center at the age of 16 for about 2 years. After that, I worked at an elementary school in the after school program as a paraprofessional and at the same time I was a nanny for a family in the morning. I watched their two children ages 2 an 4. I then moved on to work at a nursing home in the transitional care unit. I cared for people that were recently released from the hospital and required care while doing rehab. I loved it but knew my heart was with caring for children. I moved on to nanny for a three month old baby for about five months, when the family moved out of state. From there I worked in an assisted living facility for adults living with different abilities. Caring for individuals with brain injuries, mental diseases and birth defects. I loved this as well but it is a very difficult task caring for people that don't want your help. I was there for two years when the family that had moved away moved back and had had another child. I jumped at yhe opportunity to care fir children again! Well, the kids got older and entered school and no longer need my help.

I am a proud mother of 3 adult children and grandmother to 3 beautiful grandchildren. My nanny experience includes working part-time for family and other referrals on-call. I enjoy caring, nurturing, teaching and playing with children! I'm willing to drive child to activities, classes; prepare simple healthy meals/snacks; read with them; initiate fun, creative and educational activities. Ideally, I would enjoy working for a family with small children on a permanent part-time or on-call basis.

I am beginning to start my search looking for a nanny job over the summer. I can work as many hours or as little hours as needed. I am experienced with babysitting multiple children and children of all ages. I have been babysitting my neighbors, currently 10 years old and 6 years old, since I was 13 years old. When I got my license, I also have been driving them around as part of my babysitting job. I have taken them to swimming lessons, tae kwon do lessons, girl scouts, gymnastics, etc. I did this multiple times during the school weeks and all summer long for the past two summers. I also was a soccer coach for u10 girls soccer so I enjoy making sure the kids stay active and we do fun activities during the days.
