I am a mother to a beautiful, smart, funny, and silly, 5 year boy. Wife to an amazing and supportive husband.
I am 46 years old and have been a nanny my entire adult life! It has been my chosen career. I grew up a small town, rural, Oklahoma girl. I went to the local junior college to study child development and received a nanny certificate after completing two jam-packed semesters of nanny related courses.

I started my career in San Antonio and cared for a very sweet and smart, two year old little girl. I cared for her nearly three years.
My next nanny family led me to Massachusetts. There I cared for a sweet and bright four year old girl and a baby boy on the way. I cared for these children for four and a half years.
The next nanny position In January of 2000, led me to Houston and the biggest adventure of my life! This is where I met my husband, just a year after moving here.
For 13 and a half years I cared for two children, and eventually a dog! As the children got older the position turned into a house manager/ nanny position. This family moved to California in 2013.
Fast forward to my current position I am caring for one little boy who just turned three. I have been his nanny since he was three months old. The mother has decided to stay at home and be a full-time mom to him and his baby brother on the way! I couldn’t be happier for this sweet family! This position will end mid December.
Every nanny family I’ve cared for have had different needs to make their lives run smoothly. Depending on your needs (Children’s laundry, meal prep [for child or entire family], scheduling/taking to appointments, errands, grocery shopping, animal care, etc.). I’ve pretty much have done it all!
I have references from aforementioned families upon request.

My name is Lauren Henry and I am currently working towards gaining entrance into UTHealth School of Nursing within this new year in order to purse my nursing license. I am 25 years old also currently working part time as a Nursing Assistsnt for the company Home Care Assistance.

Not only do I have extensive ER experience due to my time working at Memorial Hermann Hospital here in the medical center, but all throughout my high school years I was a nanny for two little boys as well.

My job duties as their nanny had included making sure they get home safe from school, completed their homework assignments as well as of course their chores. (: During the school years I was with them, the boys were always very involved in sports and after school activities. Therefore I was responsible for driving them to and from after activities.

When school let out, I would then be with the two boys from 7:30am-4:30pm Monday-Friday as well.

Throughout highschool I would also babysit other children from all ages which has in turn given me the confidence and comfort that if, heaven forbid, any type of an emergency type of situation should ever occur, I feel very comfortable and confident that I would be able to alleviate the situation while also using what I've learned from my first semester of Nursing School in order to react quickly, efficiently and effectively to do all I could until, or if, further help help was necessary.

If you would like, my cell phone number is as follows in the event you would like to learn more about me and/or meet each other :)

Hello! I am an energetic, reliable nanny that loves kids! I started watching children as a young teenager around the neighborhood and have continued to love it throughout my life. I have worked as a temporary nanny, a night nanny, and also in the corporate world for last-minute needs. I also taught a special needs competitive cheer team for two years. Some of my favorite things to do are play outside, go for walks, and read books. I pride myself on being engaged, committed, and punctual. In addition, I can help with meal/snack prep and bathing, if needed. I have not worked long-term for a family before but that is what I desire to do. I am looking for a family that I can make a lasting relationship with. I have my own car and insurance, so transportation is not an issue. My schedule is flexible, and I can come as early or stay as late as needed. I am comfortable with pets having a puppy of my own at home. I am education focused and desire to always have a positive impact on children's lives. Thank you for your consideration! I look forward to hopefully speaking with you.
