A little bit about me
I love being a nanny and have been watching newborns, infants, toddlers, and kids (including twins!) since I was 15 years old. My responsibilities have included driving to/from school, crafts, tutoring, and even dance lessons.
I also work as a household assistant and can cook, clean, and run errands.
I have been a caretaker for my own grandparent and am comfortable with senior care. I can cook, drive to appointments, or do other tasks. (I am also a great bingo partner!)
I am an animal lover so happy to help out your 4 legged family members as well. Thank you so much for your consideration. Please contact me for questions. Looking forward to meeting your family 😊

A little bit about me
Whether it’s helping with homework, coming up with fun activities, or keeping things running smoothly at home, I always bring patience, creativity, and a positive attitude. I’m big on making sure kids feel safe, supported, and happy, and that parents can relax knowing everything’s in good hands.
Families I’ve worked with describe me as reliable, kind, and easy to talk to. I really care about building trust and keeping open communication with parents so we can work as a team.
If you’re looking for someone who will treat your kids like family and bring a lot of heart to the job, I’d love to chat and see if we’d be a great match!

A little bit about me
My name is Kimora Jackson.
I’m offering Child care, infant and household services.
I’m 20 years old, I am currently enrolled at Germanna Community college, majoring in Pre-BSN Nursing. I am right now finishing up my pre-requisite’s to then apply to nursing school in the Spring. I plan on getting my RN and working in the NICU, or labor and delivery. My classes are online making it very flexible for me as far as my schedule.
I’ve worked with kids all my life, from church volunteering to camps, babysitting, and family members. I also have families that I nanny for from time to time when they need the help.
I have my BLS certification as well as my CNA license. I have previously held a lifeguarding license as well.
I am great with any age group and flexible with hours. I love music, you can express any emotion with music. On my free time I like to be home, haha.
Pets are not an issue for me, I love dogs especially!
I also can help with any household needs!

Understand Nanny Responsibilities in Fredericksburg, VA
Before beginning the search for a nanny, it’s important to understand what you’re looking for and if a nanny is the right choice for your child care needs. In hiring a nanny, first, you should think through what responsibilities you expect your nanny to handle. With that information, you can create a profile so that nannies can reach out to you. The boundaries for nannies duties vary from family to family. In general, a nanny is responsible for making sure your children’s needs are met, including things like ensuring they have opportunities to play and be active. When tasks go beyond child care, for example, housekeeping or meal preparation, it’s good practice to communicate these expectations with your nanny before hiring them. Along with the different duties that you ask for, experience and location can impact how much you should pay your nanny.
Fredericksburg Nanny Interviews
Once you start connecting with prospective nannies, the next step is a nanny interview. To make things a bit easier, here’s a list of some nanny interview questions to consider asking:
- Do you have experience being a nanny?
- How do you handle tantrums? Can you share an experience disciplining children?
- What sort of household tasks are you open to doing?
- Are you open to a live in arrangement in Fredericksburg? Do you have experience being a live in nanny?
- Are you open to being a nanny in a nanny share?
- Do you have any references?
- Are you trained in First Aid or CPR in Fredericksburg?
- Do you have a driver’s license in VA? Do you own a car?
- What salary are you seeking? Are you open to being paid through direct-deposit, pay stubs?
- What are your expectations around over-time pay and vacation time?
During the hiring process, it’s essential to ask for references, and by asking their references questions you gain a better understanding of they will fit in your family. As you get closer to hiring a nanny, be sure to run a background check to ensure your kids are in good hands. When evaluating a prospective nanny, it’s essential to make sure you’re setting the foundation for a good relationship with your nanny. You can do this by being clear about your expectations around nanny responsibilities and compensation, and of course, by being friendly and welcoming! And of course, as you learn how to hire a nanny, Nanny Lane's nanny services are here to help you along the way.
Daycare vs. Hiring a Nanny
Choosing between putting your child in daycare and hiring a nanny can be a tough decision. While nannies are often more expensive, they provide individualized attention and flexibility. Daycares, on the other hand, prioritize socialization. Our Nanny vs Daycare guide can help you determine what's best for your family.
