A little bit about us
I’m in the development phase of a healing & parenting retreat company with a dynamic team that you could grow to be an integral part of. You’ll have the unique opportunity to work closely with me on a variety of different tasks both with respect to my professional & personal needs, including with my kiddos.
While we will work together & tag-team during agreed upon hours, the role requires initiative, responsibility, and foresight. This can be a short, medium, or long-term position, depending on your preferences & how well we all vibe.
Requirements:
-Passion for early childhood development & interested in personal growth
-Must be comfortable working on screens at least part of the time as my organization is remote & supports families on a global scale.
-Must understand what it means to ‘hold space’. As there won’t always be something for you ‘to do’ so to speak, so must be present & grounded in your own being & able to feel at ease & at peace even if not constantly doing something.
-Detail-oriented, organized, patient, & easygoing
-Housekeeping, organizing, and general upkeep of space
-Assisting with general ad hoc tasks for my business, with skills such as a proficient typer, familiar with whats app business, sensitive/compassionate communicator, & experienced with google docs.
-Bonus: social media skills such as photography, filming, content creation, & other tech-savvy skills
This Opportunity Is Ideal For: someone, who is comfortable with the solitariness of island living, who wishes to develop a wide variety of skills, both interpersonally & professionally.

Preparing for a Special Needs Nanny Job Interview in Hawaii
Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is a special needs nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:
- What is your specific experience with this diagnosis?
- Can you tell us about your experiences with children with special needs?
- Do you have any Hawaii special training?
- What would you do if an emergency arises?
- How strictly do you usually follow a schedule with children with special needs?
At this stage, you should come prepared with references from past special needs nanny jobs. It is a great opportunity to see how you fit in with the family and ask any questions about the responsibilities or compensation. To ensure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities; we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract.
