A little bit about me
I’ve been working in the preschool field for 5 years now, and 2 years as a private nanny. My years as a nanny was a great learning experience - I homeschool four children, beginning at ages 2 years to 4 years old. I created a curriculum similar to that of a preschool setting such that when the children were ready to attend school, they would be prepared. This was during the first two years of COVID. When the private nanny job ended, I returned to the preschool field, and have been here since.
While I enjoy my place of work, my coworkers, and the children - I enjoy the mindfulness and flexibility in teaching and guiding young ones through the world at their level. I find it more meaningful and effective in more smaller group size. I’ve written a paper about this theory of mine as well.
I look forward to hearing from you
- Mel
