More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Before I got my current job with the state I worked as a CNA with developmentally disabled children and adults. Also was a nanny for a family here in Lacey I was with this family for 3 years. They have 3 boys, i took them to sporting events, school events, different appointments they had, cooked them dinner when we got home, helped them do homework in the evenings and getting bedtime routes started. The boys were 15, 9 and 6 I ended up leaving the family because the dad family came home from military leave and the family didn't need my help anymore.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Keeping the children active and involved not just on electronics 24/7. I enjoy sports, being outside and just keeping active outside. Indoor activities coloring, board games, and homework (if any)

The most important part about being a nanny...
This is tough because I have so many favorite nanny moments working with that family for three years. I would have to say around Christmas time while the mom went to her work party I would stay the night at the house and we would bake cookies, decorate them, watch Christmas movies, drove around and looked at Christmas lights and drank hot chocolate. Just seeing the joy those children got from something so simple and them saying this is the best day ever and you are the best nanny would be my favorite moment.
