A little bit about me

I'm currently a college student in my senior year studying to get my BFA in Theatre Performance with a double minor in Entertainment Technology and Digital Marketing. I will be graduating in the spring. I am 21 almost 22 years old and besides being a student, I love reading, playing different musical instruments (I play piano, guitar, ukulele, and I sing). I love being around kids and learning together with them. A past job that is relevant to this one is that I was a gymnastics coach when I was 14 for about a year and a half. I got to work with kids from preschoolers to high schoolers. I taught parkour and gymnastics classes for them.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was previously a gymnastics coach and taught kids from preschool to high school for about a year and a half. I am also a theatre student and have done shows where I got the opportunity to collaborate with some really talented kids (lots of fun btw). About a two years ago, I got to be the birthday entertainment for kids at a Princess Themed birthday party. I sang to them, read them a story, and danced with them. Lastly, the Central Theatre Ensemble (the theatre I'm apart of for school) put on an interactive immersive show that was geared for Theatre for Young Audiences. I got to do a lot of the publicity. One of these days included some of my colleagues brining in their children to test out the immersive theatre. Part of my job was to be able to interact with them as a publicist and make sure that they felt comfortable with me taking photos and videos. In addition I got to hang out with them while we waited for their parents to arrive and so that the director could start rehearsal.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love reading, drawing, doing anything music (as long as it's appropriate for the youngest kid there), going on walks, dancing, playing board games, creating games, ect. I love creating improv games with kids. I think it's a lot of fun and where kids can use their imaginations. I love cooking with kids, or baking with them. I do watch over everyone and make sure to keep an eye on where everyone is at all times.
