Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Learning and fun go hand in hand for me! Outside, we fly kites, stargaze, explore nature — collecting rocks, identifying birds, clouds, and constellations. Parks, libraries, and farmers markets are some of our adventures. We read, tell stories, and hunt for great books. We play games of all kinds — card games, board games, learning games, crafts — whatever sparks joy and keeps minds engaged.
Music and singing are always part of our world. My playlist runs from Yo-Yo Ma and smooth jazz to Beyoncé & Bruno Mars. I love discovering what kids connect with too. Sports are a big YES — I love watching basketball and baseball, and there is nothing better than cheering at a live game or activity together. If kids are playing or doing I want to cheer them on.
With older teens, I love finding common ground — great books, movies, musics — and just being a real, honest presence.
My goal at every age: keep curiosity alive, nurture creativity, and make sure every child feels genuinely celebrated.

The most important part about being a nanny...
Someone once said, "They grow up so fast" — and every parent who has ever blinked and missed a first step knows exactly how true that is. There are no do-overs in childhood. Every moment of feeling loved, seen, and celebrated is either planted or missed forever. That is not lost on me — not even for a single day.
The most important part of being a nanny is simply this: showing up as someone a child will remember as safe, fun, and real. Not perfect — real. Someone who laughed with them, believed in them, and made ordinary Tuesday afternoons feel like something worth remembering.
As Mary Poppins once reminded us, "Anything can happen if you let it." I take that seriously. A cardboard box becomes a rocket ship. A rainy afternoon becomes a masterpiece. A hard day becomes bearable because someone kind is in the room.
I bring my whole heart to this work because children deserve nothing less -every single moment with them is a privilege I don't take lightly.

My experience with special needs children...
I worked as a Special Education Administrator - for the department that worked with children diagnosed with a challenge from Preschool-18+ . I have not raised nor been in a family with a special needs child or children but have a deep knowledge and understand the challenges.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One afternoon, my nieces and nephew and I were going home in the car and I started singing "My Favorite Things" from The Sound of Music. Before long, we were making up our own version — filling it with the things that made us laugh, the things we loved, the silly and the sweet. Little voices chiming in, giggling over their own words, proud of every line they contributed.
That moment had everything — creativity, connection, music, laughter, and children feeling like their ideas mattered. No screens, no plan, just pure joy we made together from scratch. They still count it as one of their best memories and that they will teach their children that "song". I still smile every time I hear that song.
That's the magic I try to bring every single day.

I have over 20 years experience working as a professional Naomi. I am also a licensed CNA with my nurse delegation. I currently work for a family doing a nanny share for two adorable toddlers. Unfortunately their family dynamic is changing and the role is ending soon. I have also taken care of two sets of twin infants in the past and have done another Nanny share so I am able to take care of more than one child. Please reach out if you have any other questions. Thank you for your time.
