I've been a swim instructor for 2+ years teaching ages 4 months to 12 years old. I am also lifeguard certified and have monthly inservice reviewing child/infant CPR and other health concerns.
I volunteered as a one-on-one reader at Dillard Drive Magnet Elementary helping 1st and 2nd graders learn the joys of literacy.

I work one-on-one teaching autistic children to swim. I've connected with non-verbal, hyperactive, and low-/high-functioning students.

My family has a history of working with SPED students since my brother is autistic and my mom is a teacher's aid and tells me about her experiences. I am also diagnosed ADHD so I am sympathetic with neurodivergent people.
