A little bit about me…
I graduated from Green Level High School and have spent years working with children in various roles. At the YMCA, I worked at Camp Grace, Camp Outer Limits, and Sports Camp, gaining experience with kids of all ages and abilities. I also worked before school at Highcroft Elementary and served as the Site Coordinator at Hortons Creek Elementary. I was a camp counselor for three years before transitioning to a student manager position at the Oval at NC State.
I am a kind, patient, and responsible person who genuinely enjoys helping children grow, learn, and develop confidence. Being a positive role model in a child’s life is something I value deeply.
I would love the opportunity to bring my enthusiasm, experience, and care to your family as a nanny!

A little bit about me…
I’ve been a nanny/babysitter and preschool teacher for 8 years..I’m excited to work more independently
Connecting with kids on their level is important to me. That’s why I am a big advocate for including physical games, playing outside, crafts, and more.
I love the outdoors, so I make time every day (when the weather cooperates) to get outside be active and explore nature.Crafts are one of my favorite things, and I love finding ways to express creativity with kids. Whether it’s glitter, macaroni art, or craft paper, I make sure there is always a new project to work on.
I’ve worked with families who have potty training problems/families with behavioral needs/children with special needs/etc. I’m reliable and hard working, i can make snacks or meal prep for the child if needed. Looking forward to connecting with you all.

A little bit about me…
I have also worked as a housekeeper, am very organized, and would be happy to help with cooking and cleaning. And I love pets!
I can certainly provide character references. My supervisor has said I have a very nurturing demeanor. Also, being a caretaker for a sick family member for the past 3 years has proved my resilience, patience, humble service, and calmness in emergency situations.
I am a devout Catholic with a deep personal relationship with Christ, and would love to work with a Catholic or Christian family.
Outside of work, I love creative writing, music, and outdoor activities. I have been working as a freelance Digital Media Consultant, and ideally hope to work a max of 30-40 hrs/wk to continue my creative work on the side.

Understand Nanny Responsibilities in Cary, NC
Before beginning the search for a nanny, it’s important to understand what you’re looking for and if a nanny is the right choice for your child care needs. In hiring a nanny, first, you should think through what responsibilities you expect your nanny to handle. With that information, you can create a profile so that nannies can reach out to you. The boundaries for nannies duties vary from family to family. In general, a nanny is responsible for making sure your children’s needs are met, including things like ensuring they have opportunities to play and be active. When tasks go beyond child care, for example, housekeeping or meal preparation, it’s good practice to communicate these expectations with your nanny before hiring them. Along with the different duties that you ask for, experience and location can impact how much you should pay your nanny.
Cary Nanny Interviews
Once you start connecting with prospective nannies, the next step is a nanny interview. To make things a bit easier, here’s a list of some nanny interview questions to consider asking:
- Do you have experience being a nanny?
- How do you handle tantrums? Can you share an experience disciplining children?
- What sort of household tasks are you open to doing?
- Are you open to a live in arrangement in Cary? Do you have experience being a live in nanny?
- Are you open to being a nanny in a nanny share?
- Do you have any references?
- Are you trained in First Aid or CPR in Cary?
- Do you have a driver’s license in NC? Do you own a car?
- What salary are you seeking? Are you open to being paid through direct-deposit, pay stubs?
- What are your expectations around over-time pay and vacation time?
During the hiring process, it’s essential to ask for references, and by asking their references questions you gain a better understanding of they will fit in your family. As you get closer to hiring a nanny, be sure to run a background check to ensure your kids are in good hands. When evaluating a prospective nanny, it’s essential to make sure you’re setting the foundation for a good relationship with your nanny. You can do this by being clear about your expectations around nanny responsibilities and compensation, and of course, by being friendly and welcoming! And of course, as you learn how to hire a nanny, Nanny Lane's nanny services are here to help you along the way.
Daycare vs. Hiring a Nanny
Choosing between putting your child in daycare and hiring a nanny can be a tough decision. While nannies are often more expensive, they provide individualized attention and flexibility. Daycares, on the other hand, prioritize socialization. Our Nanny vs Daycare guide can help you determine what's best for your family.
