A little bit about me

I am originally from Washington state but moved to Pocatello, Idaho after I got into the nursing program. I am moving home (Tri-Cities) for the summer 2026 from mid May-end of August and am looking for a part-full time nanny job with a consistent schedule. I currently work for Club24 the gym in tri cities during summers and would be doing that part time, but they only staff 4 hour periods so I need something else in order to pay to live. The hours are either 9-1pm or 3-7pm, which depending on the nanny schedule I am chosen for I would work strictly mornings at the gym or nights. I am looking for something from early morning to early afternoon (ex: 5am-2pm) would work great! If not, I could ask for consistent morning shifts and help out as a nanny from 1:15-8 or however late. Bonus: I am 50% through my nursing program and graduate in December of 2026 so I am qualified. I would love to help you and your family and look forward to hearing some of you! Let me know if you are interested!

A little bit about me

I've been the designated babysitter for friends and family since about 12 years old. I truly enjoy being around children, their imagination and excitement for the world is uplifting! Throughout my school years, my family cared for 8 foster kids (not at the same time) so I was used to being around younger children. After a while, I started babysitting for a couple of my mom's friends and it sparked something, I love being around kids! Of course the fun activities catch my attention more; but I also love doing the simple things like helping with homework, organizing toys, or making meals! If you have pets, that's no problem, I love them too! I'm always willing to do a meet and greet before we commit to anything, I understand how stressful leaving your children with a stranger can be. Please feel free to reach out with any questions you may have. Thank you for your time and I hope you will consider me!

A little bit about me

Hi, my name is Willow Johnson. I'm 16 years old, and I have a strong passion for working with children of all ages and abilities, including those with disabilities.

With over 4 years of babysitting experience, I’ve developed a natural ability to connect with kids, help them feel calm, and support those with behavioral challenges. I'm patient, kind, respectful, responsible, hardworking, and creative — all qualities that help me provide a safe, fun, and supportive environment.

I do all of my schoolwork online, which gives me a very flexible schedule to accommodate your needs. I'm also happy to help with light housework at no additional cost.

I’m open to any rate of pay that works best for your family, and I would truly appreciate the opportunity to be a helpful and positive presence in your home.

Thank you for considering me! I’d love the chance to support your family however I can!

A little bit about me

Hello all! My name is Jasz and I’m currently a student in college studying Nuclear Medicine Technology; I have my Home Care Aide certification as well as First Aid and CPR.

I have experience caring for infants and young children, as I used to babysit my own siblings and neighborhood kids in high school.
I’m fully capable of cooking for others, and can help out around the house if needed to do so (laundry, dishes, etc). I have somewhat of a flexible schedule on weekends and on the afternoons during the week.
I would love to care for your child or help out around the house—even if that means you need a single mug washed! Any work that you have available for me during my off time throughout the week would be appreciated. 😊
***I do have a previous background check that I could supply to you, if requested. I just don’t want to pay for another one through this site.
Please feel free to message me if you’re interested!

How to Find a Babysitter in Pasco, WA

Nanny Lane is a child care website meant to help you find a babysitter in your area. Our child care services include background checks, PLUS, and payroll.

Understand Babysitter Responsibilities in Pasco, WA

Before beginning the search for a babysitter, it’s important to understand what you’re looking for and if a babysitter is the right choice for your child care needs. There are lots of benefits to hiring a babysitter such as getting the flexibility of having some more time for yourself or with your partner. When hiring a babysitter, first, you should explore the differences between a nanny and a babysitter. If you’re looking for occasional child care, babysitters are the right choice for you, but if you’re looking for more frequent care, a nanny may be better for your needs.

From there, you can think about what you expect your babysitter to handle so that you can create a profile for nannies to reach out to you. The boundaries for babysitters’ duties can vary from family to family. However, in general, a babysitter is responsible for making sure your kids’ needs are met, including things like ensuring they have opportunities to play and be active. When tasks go beyond child care, for example to housekeeping, laundry, or meal preparation, it’s good practice to communicate these expectations with your babysitter before hiring them. Along with the different duties that you ask for, experience and location in Pasco can impact how much you pay your babysitter.

Pasco Babysitter Interviews

Once you start connecting with prospective babysitters, the next step is to conduct an interview. To make things a bit easier, here’s a list of some babysitter interview questions to consider asking:

  • Do you have experience being a babysitter?
  • What sort of household tasks are you open and comfortable doing?
  • Do you have any references?
  • Are you trained in First Aid or CPR in Washington?
  • Do you have a Washington driver’s license? Do you own a car?
  • How do you handle tantrums? Can you share an experience disciplining children?

During the hiring process, it’s essential to ask for references and by asking their references questions you gain a better understanding of they will fit in your family. As you get closer to hiring a nanny, be sure to run a background check to ensure your kids are in good hands. When evaluating a babysitter that you’re considering hiring, make sure you’re setting the foundation for a good relationship with your babysitter. You can do this by being clear about your expectations around babysitter responsibilities and compensation, and of course, by being friendly and welcoming!

And of course, as you learn how to hire a babysitter, Nanny Lane's nanny services are here to help you along the way.
