A little bit about me…

Hi everyone! I'm currently looking for a new nannying position to start at the end of August or beginning of September. I have 5 years of nannying experience with children ranging from 6 months to 12 years old, both in-home and in daycare settings. The past 2 years I have been working with children on the autism spectrum who have high support needs.

I pride myself on providing safe, fun and educational care, I love creating a supportive environment where kids can thrive. I'm hoping to find a long term family that needs around 25-30 hours a week. I do have a valid drivers license as well as my own vehicle and can provide references!

Let me know if you think we would be a good fit!

A little bit about me…

Hello! I’m Helen. A fully vaccinated, lifelong St. Louisan, and graduate of Missouri State University.
At 30, I’ve worked in childcare for more than half my life, and have significant experience in caring for multiple children at once, as well as caring for children with disabilities and/or special needs.
In my free time you can find me playing Dungeons & Dragons, studying Korean and Mandarin, or chilling with my cats. I am able to nanny share, or be paid through a payroll. My rate begins at $23/hr for one child. Please reach out if you have any questions for me!

"Helen was remarkable with our children. They care for children with their entire being, and it shows. Our two girls are 4 and 8, and they engaged perfectly with our strong willed kids. Helen is creative, "cool," and sets amazing boundaries with children. They speak to children in a way that is warm AND firm, which is a hard balance to strike. During their time with us, Helen provided ongoing care both during the day for virtual school (in the spring) and nearly full time in the summer months. Their flexibility and skill at managing a variety of dates, camp pick ups/drop offs, travel, etc, was unmatched. They also drove our girls to and from camp quite a bit, and we trust Helen explicitly to do that. If I asked our kids their favorite thing about Helen, they would probably say Helen's taste in music, willingness to do fun things, and the amazing grilled cheese and quesadillas that Helen makes. (In our house, Helen is a better cook than mama, which is fine by me!)."
