A little bit about me

Hey there! I am 24 years old, and my name is Bernadette although I prefer to be called by my middle name Rose! My favorite thing to study is early childhood development and education. I am looking for a family with 1-3 children to nanny for. My availability is currently open, and I am a very flexible person. My asking compensation is $20-30/hr, depending on duties and amount of children! Payroll service or direct payment are both comfortable options for me! What I value the most about being a nanny is the bond I create with the children I work with. I also value healthy communication and building trust with the parents and family of the children. If you would be interested in chatting, please message me!

Extra information about me:
-Animal friendly (both typical & exotic)
-Vaccinated and boosted
-LGBTQIA+ friendly
-Believer that diversity and universal love is vital to a thriving society
-Gentle & authoritative nannying style

"Rose was so sweet with our son. She came in and really embraced him and we could see how much they loved to play together. Rose fit right in and understood our family, learned how we operated and made efforts to make us as parents feel valued and heard. She accommodated our changing schedules, looked after and snuggled our sweet pups, and overall one of the most genuine humans in life. We appreciated our time together and know she’ll be a great addition to a lucky family."

A little bit about me

Hello parents!
I taught elementary for a private Christian school for many years and later became there program supervisor (basically same thing as vice principal) prior to that I had also taught Early Childhood Education. Working with children is my life passion. I’m new to Portland well I had lived here for 5 years then moved to VA then to TX my husband was active duty so we moved a lot and now he is done with the military and here to stay so I’d love to find a family to grow up with the kids. I have decided not to go back to teach I just feel like there has become to many politics in the school system and so I can no longer enjoy the reason I started teaching which was teach a child something they will need for the rest of their life. I have open availability but would prefer no weekends. I’m will to discuss that and figure out the needs.
