"Lucas is calm, kind, responsible, and so great with the kids — they have so much fun playing with him and immediately felt comfortable around him. The fact that he is majoring in nursing is an added bonus and gives us extra peace of mind. He is dependable, easy to communicate with, and creates such a positive, relaxed environment. We absolutely recommend him to other families!"

More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have volunteered in my church’s nursery on Sunday mornings since I was in middle school, helping care for young children in a safe and engaging environment. I have also babysat for family friends and for families who found me online during the summers since I was in 7th grade. From September through December 2025, I was a student nurse at Rosemary Anderson High School, where I worked with adolescents in a school health setting. From January through April 2026, I completed a student nursing placement in the NICU at Providence Portland Medical Center, where I gained experience working around newborns and supporting family-centered care. And this past school year I worked as a Residant Assistant (RA) at Shipstad Hall for University of Portland where I helped my freshman residents transition from high school into there first year of college.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy doing a variety of activities with children depending on their age and interests, including playing outside, arts and crafts, board games, sports, reading, imaginative play, and helping with homework. I like creating a fun and positive environment while also making sure children feel safe, included, entertained, and supported.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is creating a safe, supportive, and positive environment where children feel comfortable and cared for. I believe it’s important to build trust with both the children and parents through patience, responsibility, and clear communication. I also think a great nanny should help children have fun, learn, and feel encouraged while respecting each family’s unique routines and values.
