Hello! We are a Lincoln Park family in search of a nanny share. Below is a quick summary of who we are and what we are looking for; if interested in learning more about us or sharing a nanny please reach out. Looking forward to hearing from you!

Coverage needs: we’re looking for full time nanny care with care ranging from approximately 8am-6pm (start/end times can be flexible to ensure the schedule works for everyone).

Nanny preferences: we’d prefer an experienced nanny who specializes in infant/newborn care. Ideally they would be fluent in English, but speaking Spanish in the household is encouraged!. We’re looking for someone who can not only physically care for our child and keep her safe, but also help her learn and grow socially. We require a non-smoker.

Start date: we are first time parents expecting a baby girl in October, so ideally looking to start a nanny share in February 2018 (start date is flexible if it’s a great fit).

Location: we live in Lincoln Park directly across the street from North Pond, so there’s lots do with little ones; great access to the zoo, walking trails, and multiple playgrounds. We live in a secure building (key fob entry required) with friendly neighbors. Management staff is always available if help is needed, with some living directly on site. We’re happy to host at our home, but open to sharing that responsibility as well.

Our ideal partner family: looking for a family that has a child relatively close in age, is active, health conscious (non-smokers) and close in location. We'd prefer no pets if possible, but are open to smaller dogs. We’re open to partnering with a family that already has a trusted nanny or working to find one together.

About us: we’re outgoing, active professionals who both work downtown in the loop. We have a lot of friends who have had very positive experiences nanny sharing with the other couples and their little ones becoming friends. We’d love to find the same experience.

We are a family of 3 with our little baby girl that was born this year in August. Given that we both work full-time jobs in the corporate world (chicago downtown), we are searching for a reliable person to take care of our little girl and a family to share it with. We may be flexible, but initially looking at the hours of 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM, starting October 1. Our family lives right next to the riverwalk.

My other half and I completed our Bachelors degree at DePaul University Driehaus College of Business.

Our family enjoys golfing, fishing, rock climbing, cooking, family gatherings, and exploring new places. We keep our home clean and organized to make sure that our little one is safe and comfortable. We love doing charity work. Personally, I have volunteered for UNICEF, Feed My Starving Children, Bernies Book Bank, Chicago Cares, and After School Matters.

Here are just some of the things we are looking for: from a nanny: *Someone who is punctual. *Someone reliable (preferably with a vehicle for transportation) and responsible at home. *Someone who is good with hygiene.
*Someone who doesn't smoke. *Someone who genuinely cares about the baby and will treat our baby as family.
*Someone who is passionate about caring for our baby. Baby musts:
*Can clean and change diapers. *Can make milk, feed, and make the baby burp after feeding. *Change clothes of the baby when needed.
*Make the baby rest or go to bed. *Knows how to hold a baby properly.
*Very careful with the baby and make sure she's well.
*Someone who is trained on CPR and First Aid,

My son is 2 years old. He loves to dance and play outside. Paint. Animals. Sensory play. Water play! Happy and adventurous.
Supporting the transition with potty training. He has been ready but I need help with the consistency since I can’t be everywhere all the time.
I would also require a second language of Italian or Spanish. Light meal preparation such as finishing/heating what I have prepped, toddler snacks from the fridge/cupboard, packing a lunch, etc. You will be welcome to the food as well (babysitting snacks are the best because we all know the Oreos are for the “baby”)!
Exploration of the city, museums, aquariums, or fun!
Our nanny availability would be best for Sun-Tues and Fri.
Hours or days can vary.
Experience with child development.
Creativity to help reach and nurture those milestones.
I have a monthly budget and will discuss further if I feel you could be a permanent, compatible match. I would much rather pay you than a daycare.

We are seeking a nearby family to join a nanny share beginning in early January for our first child (boy born 10/6). We're happy to host every day or share the hosting duties, ideally in the area close to Greenview and Irving Park (right near the intersection of Lakeview, North Center and Ravenswood on the NE border of Southport Corridor). We don't have a nanny yet, but we'd like to find a family and then start the search together to find someone who fits both our families.

We have fairly flexible work schedules, so hoping for only 4-days a week, Monday-Thursday, 10-11 hours a day, but we're flexible on the specific times and can figure out what works best for all of us. Please reach out if you're a family that might be interested and we can connect over email.

I have 2 kids, 9 and almost 6. They are both intelligent, and creative. I will be traveling for work the last 2 days of each week, and need someone from about 8PM on Wednesday to 8PM on Friday. The children have school during the day from 8:00-4:30. I don't need anything more than taking them to/from school and making them dinner. No housework other than just the regular stuff the kids did that day. Both Children attend the German International School, and it would be great if you spoke some German, as their homework is primarily in German.
We are not super outdoorsy, but there is a huge park behind us, and the kids love it. They are both interested in technology, and art. My oldest is learning violin (beginner), and the youngest piano (beginner).
