A little bit about me
I've been taking care of kids throughout my entire life. Being the 5th out of 17 grandkids on my dad's side and coming from a big family there were always babies and little kids around.
I grew up on Long Island in NY, went to school and lived in Boston for 9 years and then had a 10 year adventure overseas in Australia. I've been back in the States and living in Austin since 2017 and have a great community of friends here.
A lot of those friends have been having babies over the past few years and my love for kids has been called upon time and time again for fill in nannying and baby sitting.
I'm also currently teaching at a Waldorf style Pre-K on Mondays. We have 9-12 kids on any given day in the age range of 18 months-5 years old.

A little bit about me
Apart from babysitting, my experience includes serving as an assistant Pre-K teacher and a religious education teacher. My criminal and driving records are spotless, and I hold Infant CPR and First Aid certifications. Furthermore, I am proficient in teaching primary sign language and up to year two of the in Spanish.
I firmly believe that caring for children goes beyond ensuring their safety and providing them with meals. It's about creating a supportive environment where they can learn, flourish, and thive. I am also capable of running errands, grocery shopping, meal preparation, and handling light household chores and vendor management.

A little bit about me
My name is Lea (like Leah).
I'm a Christian and my values and convictions will certainly influence how I plan to help raise your children alongside you. To me, practically this means setting high expectations of how to behave and interact with others, and yet providing so much grace, love, and mercy when they inevitably fall short of those expectations. Each child is so unique in the guidance, support & care they’ll require but I’ll always aim for gentle, loving, and yet firm, clear guidance (correction when necessary) to help them navigate life's inevitable challenges. Unless you request otherwise, I plan to pray with and over them, teach them biblical stories and values, attempt to protect their innocence and help you guide them along the best path. However, you as the parent have the greatest influence on your child’s upbringing, faith and worldview and I will honor and respect your wishes in however you wish to raise them and I will follow your lead.

How to Hire a Housekeeper Nanny in Austin, TX
On Nanny Lane, you can find a housekeeping nanny in Austin, TX. Our nanny services include background checks, PLUS, and nanny payroll. Start by posting a profile with a job description and then, you can start talking to candidates about your housekeeping nanny position.
Common Responsibilities of Housekeeper Nannies in Austin, TX
When evaluating if a housekeeping nanny is right for your family, it’s important to consider what makes housekeeping nannies distinct from nannies. Both a housekeeping nanny and a nanny are responsible for creating a safe and stimulating environment. These responsibilities can include organizing activities, preparing meals, handling child-related errands as well as others. However, a housekeeping nanny usually takes on cleaning and maintenance for the entire home and family. In contrast, a nanny focuses exclusively on cleaning for the children such as the playroom, children's laundry, etc. A housekeeping nanny offers these services to the entire home and family, including laundry, cleaning bathrooms, mopping, and vacuuming.
A housekeeping nanny can be a full-time, part-time, or live-in position. It is essential to take these factors into account when determining how much you should pay a housekeeping nanny.
