A little bit about us

Hello! Our wonderful nanny is moving on to her next opportunity and we couldn't be happier for her, however we now need to fill her position and find a new caregiver for our daughter starting April 23rd. We'd be looking for someone to come to the Air Force base in our home 20-25 hours per week, hours and starting pay flexible with a preference for 12-5pm M-F. Our daughter is 7 months old and loves Disney movies, walks outside, and looking at dogs in the neighborhood. Job duties would include heating prepared bottles and purees for meals, prepping snacks (e.g. cutting fruits, etc) when she's a little older, changing diapers, putting her down for naps on her schedule, and playing when possible. She is on a steady, predictable schedule. We absolutely need someone in-home, and would prefer our daughter to be the only child being cared for at the time. CPR/First aid is a plus, but we are willing to pay for you to get certified if not.

A little bit about us

Busy parents looking for full-time care for our 4-month-old infant. Responsibilities include occasional baby laundry and washing up bottles at the end of the day. Most of your day will be spent loving on our child!
Pet lovers rejoice, we have 3 very sweet, laid-back pets that will not need much attention from you, aside from letting the dog into the backyard every now and then.
Hours will be 7:30am-5:30pm Monday through Friday. If you can spare an occasional Saturday for a date night that would be a huge plus!

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Minot, ND

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Minot, ND

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Minot, ND? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
