A little bit about me

I am a 23 year old college student. I currently work in the Baltimore city school system, now as a literacy tutor. In the pass I have worked in daycare centers as well as church child centers. I have a strong love and passion for children and their development. And I feel what proper way to set a child up than showing them you'll show up, guide, support and teach them to be the best versions of themselves. Even as infants.
I know I mentioned I am a college student but I wanted to further explain my schedule. I only have 1 class left in the upcoming spring semester (2024) and my classes are not until 5pm in the evening.
I would love to answer any questions you may have and I look forward to hearing from you. And provide the necessary support to you and your family.

A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Breanna Brunson, but I go by Nirve (she/they). I have, nannied off and on for a total of five years, caring for children from infants to teenagers, and I've been CPR certified. I feel like I was designed for this lifestyle. I've always been passionate about nurturing curiosity and confidence in myself and others, especially the youth. In my free time I write poetry, music, short stories--you name it. I love to incorporate these elements into play and imaginative conversation (with kids and adults alike :))At this point in my life I'm learning how to be a great caregiver for my dog (who I use sign language to train) and my future kids. I recently finished my first poetry book, and I enjoy the company of pets. I'm very passionate about supporting parents navigating pregnancy and postpartum. I hope to discuss how I can best illuminate the minds of your children, and if I'm a good fit for your family. Looking for something long term. Looking forward to hearing from you!

"We feel so lucky to have found Nasha! She was the nanny for my infant son from February to June 2022 when he was between 5 and 9 months old. She was always on time and often a few minutes early. When I would sometimes run late getting home from work, she was willing to stay later than scheduled. Most importantly, though, was her caring and nurturing attitude toward my son. Every morning when she walked through the door, he was so happy to see her. She did as I asked—playing with him, taking him on walks, reading to him, sending us pictures of him, feeding him milk and solids, changing diapers, and putting him down for naps and recording his nap times. She also took initiative to do things I didn’t think to ask, like bathing him after blowouts, creating a sensory bowl, and playing calming music before naps. If he ever had a difficult time falling asleep, she always maintained a calm demeanor. She is a very friendly and relaxed person, and she was very dependable. We will miss her!"
