A little bit about me
I’m 32 years old. From Brazil (so I speak fluent Portuguese) living in Oakland. I have 2 sons (3yr & 5mo). I’m a doula, chef and yoga instructor. I'm a Positive Discipline Parent Educator and have CPR certification.
I have been providing care for families in the Bay Area for 5 years.
My last job came to an end because the sweet little girl I used to care for started school. I used to bring my oldest son with me and they became great friends. My son also started going to school. Since he goes in Alameda, it’d be great to find a family from there.
This time, I am also looking for a family who would be ok with me bringing my baby.
We are a Montessori family (husband is a Montessori teacher and we’ve been doing Montessori at home with our children from birth). Our approach to raising/caring for children is that of respectful parenting/positive discipline.

A little bit about me
My name is Miriam. I am 21 years old and I just moved to the Bay Area from the Midwest.
I grew up with a big family and so I had to watch my younger siblings and my older siblings children often. I have experience with kids of all ages. Throughout high school I babysat kids from other families here and there. Though, I have spent the majority of my time around kids as a teacher. Spending my time through high school at the library working events for children and working one on one with reading skills. I then moved on to working in the children’s section of Barnes and Noble where I got to preform story time.
I love reading to kids and I hope one day to create my own children’s media.
I am an artist and I love working with kids on crafts and nurturing their creativity.
