A little bit about me
I'm a pre-nursing student with years of hands-on childcare experience. From family and neighbors to regular clients, I've always been the one people call when they need someone trustworthy and reliable.
I’m super flexible and ready to jump in wherever needed. I’ve helped with everything from school pick-ups and overnight care to outings, meals (I love to cook and bake!), homework, travel, and keeping daily routines running smoothly.
I also have experience house and pet sitting, so I’m very comfortable handling responsibilities beyond just childcare as well.
Every child and family is different, and I always try to adapt in a way that helps everyone feel comfortable, supported, and understood.
Feel free to reach out with any questions or to set up a virtual meet!

My experience with caring for kids ranges from 5-6 years! I have worked both part and full time for families with children 0 months-13 years old!
I am a 22 year old post grad Biology student and am currently on track to pursue a career in nursing.
I grew up extremely active, playing competitive soccer for over 16 years, and really just trying out every sport there is! Not able to stray far from habit, I also enjoy working out, even if it is just a small walk or run.
I worked as a Barista for about a 4 years, however prior, worked in a restaurant for a year and a half. There I learned how to safely prepare and cook food to ensure food safety and sanitation!
To add, I have been a fully licensed driver since 2020, and currently have a 2024 Hyundai Tucson and am comfortable with pick ups/ drop offs

Understand Nanny Responsibilities in Hermosa Beach, CA
Before beginning the search for a nanny, it’s important to understand what you’re looking for and if a nanny is the right choice for your child care needs. In hiring a nanny, first, you should think through what responsibilities you expect your nanny to handle. With that information, you can create a profile so that nannies can reach out to you. The boundaries for nannies duties vary from family to family. In general, a nanny is responsible for making sure your children’s needs are met, including things like ensuring they have opportunities to play and be active. When tasks go beyond child care, for example, housekeeping or meal preparation, it’s good practice to communicate these expectations with your nanny before hiring them. Along with the different duties that you ask for, experience and location can impact how much you should pay your nanny.
Hermosa Beach Nanny Interviews
Once you start connecting with prospective nannies, the next step is a nanny interview. To make things a bit easier, here’s a list of some nanny interview questions to consider asking:
- Do you have experience being a nanny?
- How do you handle tantrums? Can you share an experience disciplining children?
- What sort of household tasks are you open to doing?
- Are you open to a live in arrangement in Hermosa Beach? Do you have experience being a live in nanny?
- Are you open to being a nanny in a nanny share?
- Do you have any references?
- Are you trained in First Aid or CPR in Hermosa Beach?
- Do you have a driver’s license in CA? Do you own a car?
- What salary are you seeking? Are you open to being paid through direct-deposit, pay stubs?
- What are your expectations around over-time pay and vacation time?
During the hiring process, it’s essential to ask for references, and by asking their references questions you gain a better understanding of they will fit in your family. As you get closer to hiring a nanny, be sure to run a background check to ensure your kids are in good hands. When evaluating a prospective nanny, it’s essential to make sure you’re setting the foundation for a good relationship with your nanny. You can do this by being clear about your expectations around nanny responsibilities and compensation, and of course, by being friendly and welcoming! And of course, as you learn how to hire a nanny, Nanny Lane's nanny services are here to help you along the way.
Daycare vs. Hiring a Nanny
Choosing between putting your child in daycare and hiring a nanny can be a tough decision. While nannies are often more expensive, they provide individualized attention and flexibility. Daycares, on the other hand, prioritize socialization. Our Nanny vs Daycare guide can help you determine what's best for your family.
