A little bit about me
I’ve always had a passion for children with an extensive career in childcare. I started out at Kid City Day Care in Thomasville as a summer volunteer, volunteering 3 times a week for 5 years. At Kid City, I worked one on one with a special needs girl (age 3 when I started) helping her specifically with sensory skills. Kid City led me to my next career as a paid child care attendant at the First Presbyterian Church of Thomasville. I served there for 2 years and was adored by the FPC parents. At a given time, I would watch 3-6 children for 2 hours every Sunday leading art activities, bible stories, and play. Since then, I have gained several nieces & nephews to adore along with 3 of my own kids (dog kids that is). We adore spending time outdoors walking or hiking and by the way my dogs look at me while I’m cooking, we all enjoy a homemade cooked meal too. Some of my other skills include piano player, intermediate Spanish speaker, and beginner guitar player.
