Tips to find a great full-time nanny without overpaying
- Be flexible on experience. Some of the best full-time nannies on the platform have 3–5 years on the job and charge meaningfully less than experienced full-time nannies with 10+ years. References matter more than years.
- Consider a share. If your kids are similar ages and you live near another family, a share is the single biggest cost reduction available without compromising on care.
- Be specific about hours upfront. Most full-time nannies will take a slightly lower rate for a guaranteed steady schedule than for a higher-rate, unpredictable one.
- Bundle benefits thoughtfully. Two weeks PTO, a health stipend, transit passes, education assistance, or an annual raise commitment can help close the gap with families offering a higher hourly rate.
- Match rate to responsibilities. A higher rate often makes sense once you add cooking, errands, or driving. Don't compare apples to oranges across listings.

A little bit about me
Im Adam Pennington. Im a fly fishing guide in Casper, Wyoming and my fiancé and I just moved to Cheyenne. I’ve been looking for some fun winter work since We’re new to town and thought I’d be a unique fit for a family who needs help taking care of the kids while they’re at work.
I grew up in Missouri with two younger sisters and went to college at Northwest Missouri State University and got a degree in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation. I worked for Wyoming Game and Fish in 2017 before I became a fishing guide. I lived and guided in Idaho the past three years and usually work on a ski resort in the winter in Sun Valley Idaho. I also guide in Alaska in the fall for Salmon. My fiancé accepted a job in Cheyenne coaching the ranch horse team at LCCC and teaches equine science which led us back to Wyoming for new beginnings. I babysat in high school for my baseball coach and am very excited to have kids of my own someday.
Give me a call if I would fit in well with your family.
