Homeschool Tutor / Nanny Needed
Location: Quartz Hill

Looking for a kind, patient, reliable and creative tutor to work with our 2 children age 3 & 5.

Monday–Friday, 8:30am–12:30pm to start, $19hour. Initially, 3 hours with our 5-year-old and 1 hour with our 3-year-old. Once our youngest turns 4 and begins TK next year, hours will increase to approximately 5–6 hours/day. Start date 11/2/26.

Our 5-year-old is enrolled in a charter school and we already have our main curriculum. We need someone who can make learning fun, engaging and creative rather than simply sitting at a table doing worksheets. We love hands-on learning, games, crafts, experiments, books, movement and outdoor activities. Limited screen time preferred.

The children are different ages, so the tutor must be able to adapt lessons to each child’s age, interests, learning style and needs.

Subjects include Math, Language Arts, Science, Social Studies, Spanish and Enrichment. Spanish-speaking ability is preferred.

We welcome someone who can bring their own educational ideas, books, activities, resources or supplemental curriculum and make suggestions to enhance our existing curriculum.

Responsibilities include teaching lessons, tracking completed work and documenting learning with photos/videos and a brief explanation for charter school submissions. This will apply to both children once our youngest begins TK.

Basic childcare responsibilities include hygiene/care as needed, preparing simple snacks, clean-up after meals/activities and keeping the learning area tidy.

Experience working with young children in education, tutoring, homeschool, childcare or early childhood settings is required. Early childhood education experience preferred. CPR/First Aid certification required. Reliable transportation, references and background check required.
