I am looking for care for my 6-week-old infant. I would like someone who is patient, nurturing, and willing to help follow an age-appropriate daily schedule. My baby is breastfed, so experience caring for breastfed infants is preferred. During wake windows, I would like the caregiver to engage in healthy developmental activities such as tummy time, reading, talking, singing, and other age-appropriate interactions.
My baby's ideal day follows a consistent routine of eating, sleeping, and engaging in age-appropriate activities during wake windows. I would like the caregiver to support healthy sleep habits, feedings, diaper changes, and developmental activities that encourage growth and bonding. Maintaining a predictable schedule is important.

Part-Time Nanny Job: The Amiri Family with 1 Child
Hello! I am currently looking for a warm, bubbly, and loving childcare professional to help care for our one year old during the week while I work from our home in Chicago, IL. The position would be M-Th from 9 AM - 4 PM, with potential for more hours if the fit is right. Responsibilities would include keeping our child safe and entertained with age-appropriate activities, feedings, naps, diaper changes, cleaning up after baby (nursery, bottles, dishes, laundry, etc.). Must be comfortable with animals as we have three large, very friendly dogs. Ideally our person would help with short potty breaks for the pups towards the end of their shift as well. Expectations would be professionalism, transparency, up to date on vaccinations, CPR certified, clean background report, experience with infants/toddlers, English as a first language, and we would also want this person to stick around long-term. I am a Biz Ops Manager currently working at a Law Firm that has pretty standard hours. 9AM - 5PM, Monday - Friday. I just had my first baby - a boy named Theo - born on January 25, 2023. I would need nanny services (hopefully a nanny share arrangement) starting in May of 2023. He will be a little past 3 months old by then so a nanny very comfortable around infants!
I do not mind dropping or picking up my child at another family's home. My home is a bit on the smaller side, it is on the first floor of a 2 flat home. I do have two dogs in my home for potential nanny's and nanny share families so a nanny would have to be familiar around dogs.
Would love a nanny to be able to work from 8am to 5pm and have some flexibility in case work run longs or something unexpected happens. I would also love help setting a schedule with my baby as he grows!
