Hi Sitters/child care. My family need an honest baby sitter. We are looking for someone to start asap. Our ideal position would be for a long term (at least 1 yr), full time (40 to 50 hrs per week) nanny to watch our 2yrs old son and 9month old daughter. Hello! I work at a Juvenile Detention center on 12 hour shifts, 6am-6pm. Some days I am called in to run shift on a day off which could be a 530am-530pm, or 530pm-530am(rarely). Because of my dayshift hours, I am unable to take my son to school in the mornings, or even have somebody watch him in the mornings when he does not have school. My mother helps me out as much as she can with these hours and allowing me to continue to work. My son starts school at 9am(drop-off at 0830am) and gets out around 315pm. Most days he is able to be picked up by my mother. I do have 2 dogs at home who love people, but can be hyper when someone is new or just gets home. My son normally takes care of himself, and most of the time just wants someone to play with him as he is an only child. He has no allergies but is a very picky eater(typical). I need someone that can pick up my youngest and my kids off the bus to watch while I am at work. I’m going to be starting a 2nd shift job so it would have to be from 1pm until 11pm. The bus pick up is normally around 3:30-3:50.

I work at The Hive on Nelsonville as a full time CBHW on staff to connect children to local resources. I have two children that would need to be cared for from 1:30pm to 3:30pm every workday. Their father is able to care for them in the mornings but they are not allowed to join me at work until 3:30pm. They would need picked up by 1:30pm from home and dropped off at the Hive by 3:30pm.
