Job Proposal – Newborn & Childcare Position
Position Overview:
A nurturing, reliable, and experienced caregiver who joins the family initially as a night nanny for a newborn, with plans to transition into a daytime nanny role as the baby grows and begins sleeping longer stretches.

Phase 1: Night Nanny (Initial 1–2 Months)
• Schedule: 5 nights per week
• Hours: 8 PM–6 AM or 9 PM–7 AM or 10 PM–8 AM (flexible depending on the baby’s schedule)
• Primary Duties:
• Full nighttime care for the newborn (feeding, changing, soothing, and monitoring sleep)
• Maintaining sleep and feeding logs
• Washing and sterilizing bottles
• Light tidying related to baby’s care
• Compensation: $600 per week (open to negotiation)

Phase 2: Transition to Day Shifts
(Once the newborn is sleeping longer stretches through the night)
Option A – 10-Hour Shifts
• Schedule: 8 AM–6 PM, 5 days per week
• Focus: 4 days of newborn care only + 1 day of joint child care (newborn + older sibling)
• Compensation: $600 per week
Option B – 12-Hour Shifts
• Schedule: 8 AM–8 PM, 5 days per week
• Focus: Newborn care only for 4 days + 1 day of joint child care (newborn + older sibling)
• Compensation: $700 per week
