Part-Time Nanny Job: The Poth Family with 1 Child
We’re a busy, fun family of five looking for a kind, dependable, and experienced caregiver to help with our sweet 8-month-old baby boy. He’s truly easy as pie—happy, easygoing, and generally just along for the ride!
We’re looking for flexible weekly help rather than a traditional full-time nanny schedule. Many days, one or both of us will be home while you’re here, and we’d love an extra set of hands so we can work around the house, catch up on errands, spend time with our older kids, or simply get things done. Other times, we may take advantage of the help to sneak away for a date night, go hiking, run errands, or enjoy a little time together.
Because our needs can change from week to week, flexibility is important to us. We’d love to find someone who is comfortable with a schedule that may include daytime hours as well as occasional evenings or weekends.
Our biggest priority is finding someone we genuinely trust with our baby. We’re hoping for someone who has experience caring for infants, is attentive and engaged, and has a naturally warm and patient personality. Someone who enjoys playing, going for walks, helping with naps and bottles, and giving him lots of attention would be a great fit.
We’d love for this to become a consistent, ongoing relationship with someone who feels comfortable in our home and eventually feels like an extension of our family. If you’re experienced with babies, reliable, flexible, and looking for a sweet little guy to spend time with each week, we’d love to hear from you!

ABOUT US: We are a friendly, active couple in Holladay, Utah (near Wasatch Blvd) and are first time parents to a beautiful little girl who is 5.5 months old.
I work from home, my husband goes into the office. We love being outdoors, traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending time with family and our two very friendly, cute dogs.
LOOKING FOR: a nanny and regular babysitter who is warm, responsive, dependable, and loves babies. Must be familiar with helping baby with milestones like rolling, crawling and food preparation.
Hours would be 8 to 5pm MON-FRI but we might ask you to stay later some days if it works with your schedule. We also aim for weekly date nights so you’d have a steady babysitting gig.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
• Infant care
• Light housekeeping related to baby care (laundry, cleaning up her room, bottle prep and wash, etc)
• Playtime with baby! Tummy time, stroller walks, reading to baby

My baby is less than five months old and I’m returning to work (from home) soon. My husband is a firefighter/paramedic and we’re looking for help on weekdays where we’re both working. His schedule is a rotating six days so one week he will work Tuesday/Wednesday and the next shift will be Monday/Tuesday. It seems like an inconsistent schedule but it’s just odd! We’re looking for basic infant care, attentiveness during awake time, knowledge about infant care and soothing and sleeping, and possibly snack prep for mom.

We would like someone who is CPR certified, willing to do developmentally appropriate enrichment/educational activities, and is comfortable helping with some light housework such as baby dishes and laundry.
