A little bit about us

We're a warm, easygoing family in Cedar Rapids looking for a caring, dependable nanny for our infant daughter during the [phone number hidden] school year. The position would begin at the end of August/early September (when she'll be about 5 months old) and run through the end of May, with a little flexibility on the exact dates. My husband is an educator and has summers off, so this is a school-year position.

We're open to finding one wonderful nanny for all five weekdays, or two reliable caregivers who would like to split the week.

I work from home, so I'll be nearby in my office throughout the day and am available. Your primary focus will simply be caring for our sweet girl. We're not looking for meal prep, housekeeping, or other household tasks.

She's a happy babe who loves music, being read to, tummy time (in moderation 😊), playing with her toys, watching the ceiling fan, going for walks, and, thankfully, she's also a great napper. During her naps, we want you to feel free to relax, read, watch TV, study, or catch your breath.

We're hoping to find someone with infant experience who genuinely enjoys engaging with babies through play, conversation, books, and music rather than relying on screens. CPR certification is strongly preferred.
