Babysitter Job: The Cooney Family with 2 Children
My husband and I have two daughters ages 3 and 7. We have full time day-care but are looking for an occasional baby sitter (1-2 times per weekend). Generally, it would be for evenings 5-9. Or on full days when the daycare is closed, 1-2 times per month. Eventually, it would be great to have support on pick up for occasions we are running late.
The girls are largely self-sufficient. We have a lot of toys and activities for them to do. Our youngest daughter, Phoebe, is about 80% potty trained (almost there!). Isadora (7), is going into second grade in a few weeks. She’s currently in daycare for the summer with Phoebe 8am-5pm.
Also, we have one small dog and a cat. Both are friendly and largely keep to themselves.

We recently moved from San Jose to Elk Grove and primarily need support Monday-Thursday (can be flexible) between 9AM-12:30PM (can also be flexible). I work eastern standard time so my work day tends to end earlier, however, my husband works pacific standard time so the mornings and afternoons are challenging for us.
We would prefer a college student who is studying education/child development and needs the nannying experience--but we are open. We need support playing, teaching, and taking care of our toddler for now and ideally support with our newborn soon. Pay range is $20-25/hr based on experience.
