A little bit about us

Bennington family needs a part-time (possibly full-time) nanny. We are looking for a caring, responsible, and patient nanny to care for our 4-year-old son in the afternoons. He currently attends Montessori school in the mornings, and we are transitioning to a schedule where we will need afternoon care from around noon until one of us returns from work. Our son is a bundle of energy with a strong will, but he's also incredibly sweet and loves one-on-one attention. He thrives with clear direction and positive reinforcement. He loves to explore and learn, and you'll find that he responds well to someone who engages with him in a calm, caring, yet firm manner. We would need care for him Monday through Friday, some days off during the week when either myself or my husband are off from work. You would need to have your own vehicle and be able to pick Declan up from school. I look forward to hearing from interested folks!

We own our 2 story home in Bennington and have large enclosed backyard with swing set, rock wall, trampoline, fire pit, and playhouse for entertainment. Fluency in English is needed, but extra bonus for multilingual as we wish to teach our daughter Spanish and other languages as able.
Primarily looking for weekend help to provide structure and enrichment for our daughter with scheduled activities and goals. We like to go out Friday and Saturday nights. We would appreciate light house tasks when she is sleeping, such as meal prep, picking up the house, laundry, and dishes. These are adjustable based on your comfort and experience.
