A little bit about us

Hi! We are two families who have a full-time nanny share position available. One family has an 22-month old child and the other has 2.5 year old twins. The position is structured as follows:

Mondays: care of 22-month-old only (4-8 hours at $19/hour depending on nanny availability. Open to negotiate rate depending on experience)
Tuesday-Thursday: all 3 kids together at one house (8 or 8:30 AM until 3/3:30 PM at $25/hour)
Fridays: care of 2.5 year old twins (typically 4-8 hours at $19/hour. Rate negotiable depending on experience)

We work schedules with some flexibility, so total hours can be between 30-40 depending on the needs of the nanny. All three children begin school in August, however there is the possibility of continuing a regular schedule with the 22-month-old at reduced hours after August.

We are loving, active, and intentional families. We deeply value the care provided to our children by a nanny, and hope to offer a supportive and inclusive work environment. Someone who is a good fit with us is active and engaged, enjoys toddlers and has experience working with this age, appreciates impromptu toddler dance parties, and can roll with lots of kid questions, big curiosity, and toddler emotions. We hope to work with someone who is able to comfortably uphold daily routines/structure, hold limits when necessary, and help our kids learn and practice tools for managing the big emotions that come up from time to time (two of the moms are therapists so there’s lots of practice with feelings in our houses!).

Some transportation of children to play places or programs is expected. Fluency in Spanish is a major plus but not required.

Also lots of hand on play and 1 on 1 attention is important. My little boy is a busy fella! He loves to move and he loves to eat. I am going to need someone that has their own transportation, is not a smoker and is comfortable with animals.( mostly a dog) Ideally I would prefer you to come here to my home, but I am open minded to outside care once or twice a week if it is needed or works out for both of us. I don't necessarily need house cleaning but tidying up through out the day, after mess making or cleaning up slight after meals and snacks if very helpful. I would also love someone who enjoys outside time play as well not just always playing inside! Nature, outside time, and individual freedom to learn and play are apart of our everyday.
Beside care for my baby boy , I am also in search of a baby sitter to come from time to time. In addition to my 1 yr old I have a 11 yr old daughter, and 13 yr old son.

We have a 10 month old girl who loves to laugh and is learning to walk. We are exploring the possibility of in-home assistance for part time weekdays. One mom works from home at this time and the other mom has some current health needs that require a period of down time for resting mid-day, which is why we are seeking baby care help.

We are extremely covid-cautious and need someone who is vaccinated, boosted, and masks indoors in public. Nonsmoker please. We have two cats in the home.

The ideal candidate would have experience with babies and toddlers, be available between 2-6pm on weekdays, and be comfortable with the LGBTQ community. You will never need to drive the baby anywhere, but must have reliable transportation to reach our home.
