Family of 5 seeking a warm, capable nanny to assist stay-at-home mom on weekday afternoons, 3-5 days per week. We have 3 kids: boys ages 5 and 3 and a newborn girl. You'd care for the baby solo while I do school pickup, then work alongside me through the afternoon: after-school snacks and decompression for the boys, help with the baby during the afternoon/evening hours, and getting dinner on the table. We're looking for someone calm and confident with preschool/kindergarten age-kids, ideally with a background (or degree in progress) in early childhood education, child psychology, pediatric OT, nursing, or similar. Newborn experience required. Must be comfortable with dogs. $27-32 hr depending on experience. We're metro and bus accessible. My son Rhodes just turned two - he is engaged and energetic, loves to be outside, and is a curious explorer. He uses baby sign language and is very communicative. The light housekeeping is really because Rhodes loves to clean and we like to indulge his vacuum obsession. I'd love to find a nanny or nanny share that would include lots of outdoor playtime.
