A little bit about us

Seeking kind and caring individual to provide care in our home in Columbia a few days a week. Duties include care of an 18-year-old active and engaging young lady with special needs/cognitive disability. She functions at the level of a 2-year-old. We are looking for someone who is patient, kind, energetic, nurturing and reliable. Special care needs include implementing a behavior management plan, playing with her, changing diapers, feeding pureed foods/thickened liquids and light housekeeping. Special needs and/or experience with young children is a requirement. Experience with ABA is a bonus. Hours are 2:30-8:30 a few days during the week . Weekends and additional daytime hours during school breaks may also be available. Pay is through the ARC of Central Chesapeake via check or bank direct deposit. First aid, CPR and background check are required.
