A little bit about us

We are looking for a part-time nanny to join our family to assist with our four-month-old son at our home in Fairfield. Our family is seeking an experienced, caring professional who truly enjoys spending time with kids. We are hoping to find someone that fits well with our family and treats our baby as their own. We would love to find a nanny who can stay with us for a year or more.

Hours: 16-24 hours a week. Flexibility to work extended hours, but we’ll provide the additional hours well in advance.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Playing and customizing a variety of developmentally appropriate activities
• Support all needs related to childcare such as feeding, changing diapers, dressing, bathing, soothing, putting the child to bed/nap, and keeping child safe
• Cleaning and sterilizing bottles, breast pump parts, toys
• Light housekeeping (folding laundry, dishes, tidying baby area)

Qualifications & Required Skills:

• Must be 18+ years of age or older
• 3+ years childcare experience specifically with infants
• Complete Background Check
• Driver’s license and reliable transportation. • Infant CPR and First Aid certification
• 3 professional references
• Minimum of one year commitment

Desired Skills:
• Knowledge in child development
• Knowledge in Montessori principles a plus
• Dog friendly
