A little bit about us

Hi - We’re looking for a nanny beginning May 12, when our son, Ronan, will be 5 months old.

My wife and I both work full-time, so we’d be looking for someone to cover Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm (occasionally later, but this would be communicated +48-hours in advance) for May-September, and then reducing to 3-days per week between October-April (when Ronan’s grandparents watch Ronan 2-days per week). We are trying to implement a parenting style that:
- Is firm but loving, and encourage independence within limits
- Use supportive disciplinary methods
- Children may be assertive, self-regulating, cooperative, and socially responsible

In addition, would love if our nanny could plan the occasional outing with Ronan (e.g., zoo, aquarium, museum, etc.) - we would cover incidentals.

We’re ideally looking for a nanny who meets all of the following:
• Minimum of 3 years of post high school childcare experience
• Exemplary childcare references
• Ability to make a 1-2 year commitment to a Family
• High School Diploma (college degree or coursework in child related field preferred)
• Clear Criminal Record
• Valid Driver’s License
• A reliable, insured vehicle
• Strong driving record
• CPR & First Aid Certified (or willing to complete)
• Non-Smoker

As an FYI, we have two cats - pet-care is not required, but flagging for those who have allergies.
