Active and Caring Tehachapi, Ca based family seeking a modern-day “Mary Poppins.” Mom & Dad are business owners, and involved community members, who work full-time and have 3 children, ages 10, 8 and 1-year. The older 2 children are in private school and baby is home, but mom & dad like to travel with their children whenever possible, therefore children will bring their schoolwork with them when traveling and studying is a big part of their daily schedule. They reside in Tehachapi, Ca, but spend a substantial amount of time in Mammoth Lakes, Ca, traveling to Southern California and beyond. Mom & Dad are seeking a loving caretaker to perform all tasks that correlate to the care of 1-year old, as well as after school care for big sister and brother. Number one priority is to create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment in which the children can thrive and develop. This position will also include cooking, errands and light housework duties. Depending on experience, this position may involve some additional house management/ administrative duties. This is a live-in nanny opportunity in a Tehachapi, Ca home with a flexible schedule of up to 40-50hrs/week designated child care time depending on location and schedule of parents. This position offers private living quarters, detached from main home, including bathroom. The pay structure will be approximately $500-$800 a week, paid bi-weekly, based on experience. A candidate with a teaching credential and experience may warrant an additional increase in salary. A reliable and insured personal vehicle is a plus. If parents must be away overnight, additional compensation will be provided.
