Babysitter Job: The Claassen Family with 2 Children
Need a nanny/babysitter for two elementary-ge children (4th grade and Pre-K) for one hour in the morning before school 5 days/wk on M-F at 7:30-8:30 AM; watch the Pre-K child 5 days/wk for 2.75 hours after school on M-F at 1:45-4:30PM, the 4th grader 4 days/wk for 0.75 hours MTRF 3:45-4:30 PM and 1 day/week for 2.75 hours W 1:45-4:30 PM.
Total hours needed per week: 18.75 hours collectively -- broken down to 5.75 hours/week caring for the 4th grader and 18.75 hours/week caring for our Pre-K student (so just 5.75 of the total 18.75 weekly hours would be spent caring for both simultaneously)
Individual would also be required to walk our children the 1.5 blocks from our home to their elementary school in the morning for arrival by 8:30AM, as well as pick up the Pre-K student M-F at 1:45PM (4th grader will walk home alone every day)

I am looking for after school care in our home on Tuesdays and Thursdays for a 4th grader, 2nd grader, and kindergartener from around 3:20-4:20. Kids are great listeners and very independent! I'm looking for someone to supervise them from when they get home off the bus to when I get home from work. We live out in the country between Cedar Falls and Waverly (Southeast of Janesville). We may have other occasional or regular babysitting jobs if interested or more regular opportunities if schedules align! Must be comfortable with animals - we have a small dog in the house as well as chickens and cats who stay in our barn.

I do light investing and business management out of state that requires the occasional trips to work in person with my business partner. My kids are both school age and ride the bus to and from school. I would mostly be gone during the work week so the hours would primarily be 3pm until 9 am. We also have 2 dogs and 4 cats. The only responsibility would be to let the dogs out to go potty a few times each day. That and making sure the kids are responsible for feeding and cleaning up after the animals. We have a spare room for the nanny to use for rest and privacy. We also have a vehicle they can use if necessary. Our heme is currently in a major state of remodel so being flexible with the not so feng shui is a must.
