Full-Time Nanny (4 Days/Week) for Infant — Chesterton Area
Professional family seeks an experienced, live-out nanny for our daughter (about 6 months old at start). Long-term fit wanted. She's a happy, attentive baby who naps lightly and loves to babble. Start: flexible in August.
Role: Caring for our daughter — safe-sleep naps, feeding/changing on demand, lots of playtime, and activities that support her milestones. No household chores or non-baby duties. She has mild torticollis; we handle her PT ourselves, but want play that encourages a healthy range of motion (we'll show you a few easy habits). Light housework negotiable. Dad works from home but is unavailable during the day.
Pay & benefits:
$18–25/hr depending on experience (targeting ~$22–23, up to $25 for the right fit); paid legally as a W-2 employee (we handle payroll/taxes)
Overtime at 1.5× over 40 hrs/wk, as required by law
Guaranteed minimum 30 hrs/week
Paid holidays + two paid weeks off around Christmas/New Year's
Must have:
Hands-on infant experience (tell us about it)
Infant CPR + First Aid (or willing to certify)
Comfort with safe-sleep practices
Reliable vehicle + clean driving record (rural property just outside town)
Comfortable with cats
2+ recent references
Able to flex to occasional long days (~8:30 PM)
