A little bit about us

Hey! I’m looking for someone who has experience with babies and toddlers; my girls are 19 months and 4 months. I also prefer someone who practices or is willing to learn gentle/supportive/positive parenting and implement what you learn. I would love for my house to be screen time free during the day and lots of time learning and playing both inside and outside. We have a ton of Montessori toys and a very large backyard. I work from home but need someone here during the day, from about 7am to 3pm, to be their caregiver while I work. Outside of just hanging out and playing with them, you’d need to put them down for naps, change diapers, get them dressed in the morning and prepare/serve breakfast, snack, lunch and another snack. No real cleaning involved, outside of just cleaning up after them and yourself. Think of our home as yours while you’re here!

Would also like flexibility for occasional date night babysitting.

We are a young family that loves the outdoors, traveling and adventure! We are currently looking for a consistent part-time nanny for our almost 2 year old son while I (mom) works from a home office or steps out for appointments. Hours would be roughly 8:30am-12:30pm (give or take 30 minutes). Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays are what we have in mind with our current schedules. Nap time would be after you leave for the day. My son is an amazing, energetic, creative, and social toddler. Looking for someone to match his energy and become his best buddy a few days a week! He loves the outdoors and playing in the backyard with bubbles, and we live less than a 6 minute walk to 2 different parks. Light housekeeping may include just picking up any scattered toy messes as he moves on to the next activity, or wiping up any spilt food/drinks from snacks or meals. Meal prep would just include heating up his breakfast or lunch that is already prepped in the fridge. We are open to discussing a payroll service, dependent on agreement with the right fit and their preferences. If the ideal candidate is not yet first-aid certified, we are willing to fund the course after hire. Thank you!

Nice to meet you all! I have a soon to be 6 month old son and 2 year old daughter. When the school year arrives I will need care for my son and potential drop off for my daughter at daycare. I am weighing the options for her being watched at home or in a group setting.
This job will primarily be while I am at school teaching. Very occasionally would we ask for a potential date night sitter. But that is farther down the line.
