A little bit about us

Single Mom of 3 seeking good, caring support to help me juggle. Two girls are the focus, ages 9 and 8. Need help with morning and after-school routines, such as breakfast, drop offs and pick-ups. Two schools are less than 10 minutes from home and each other. Other tasks include grocery pick-up, meal prep, girls' laundry, straightening kids' area. Would love someone to do crafts and fun after school activities in our small condo. Split shift would be ideal (6 am - 10 am and 3 pm - 7 pm), but we are flexible. Really need reliable help, Godly spirit, kindness to lighten load while I work at home and manage appointments with aging parents. Dependable transportation is essential, although driving will be within 10 mile radius of home. Experience with special needs is very helpful. Your academic mindset is a real treasure to encourage reading and do learning games.

* Afternoon Routine: Keep boys on track with homework, guide them through tasks, and engage creatively.
* Light Upkeep: Help boys unpack bags, wash lunchboxes/dishes, and ensure play areas are neat before parents get home.

Ideal Candidate
Dependable, proactive, and positive. You can balance being an engaging mentor to two boys while maintaining clear boundaries around homework and safety. Strong communication and ability to work independently are essential.
Requirements
* Ideally lives in or near Bethesda, MD or nearby.
* Committed to M–F, 2:00 PM – 5:30 PM.
* Experienced with childcare and family/child laundry.
* Clean driving record, valid US license, and a safe, reliable vehicle.
* Pass background checks and provide excellent childcare references.
