A family in Bloomfield Hills is looking for an additional nanny to help cover when extra help is needed. This is a salary position. You will cover for current nanny's PTO, vacation travel, work one consistent day a week and as needed with 48 hours notice. Must be comfortable with dogs. You will be responsible for pick up, drop off, pet care, homework help, moderate laundry, packing lunches, etc. Flexibility is a must and confidentiality is extremely important to the family.

We plan to have our 2-year-old in a part-time school program, and we’d love a nanny who can reinforce what he’s learning through play, reading, and age-appropriate activities. Seeking experienced nanny Fridays only for our three-month-old baby girl at our home to start as soon as we find the right match. We are planning for a long term position until Eleanor goes to pre-school and hopefully extending to a second child by then. We fortunately already found a wonderful nanny for Monday-Thursday.
Standard hours would be Friday 8am to 5pm. Pay flexible depending on experience starting at $20 per hour.

-Reliable, fun personality, engaging, responsible
-Experience with infants and can provide references
-CPR and first aid certified for babies/children
-Willing to complete a background check
-Up to date on routine vaccinations (TDAP, Covid, flu)
-Non-smoker, does not vape
Your primary responsibility will be maintaining a healthy and safe environment for Eleanor while engaging her in age-appropriate activities as she grows and learns. For now that’s tummy time, play, reading, and walks. When she’s older, visits to a park, art projects, or going to the local library. We want a nanny who will partner with us as we learn how our baby grows, what she needs, and how to adjust over time (eating, sleeping, play).
Other baby-related tasks would include the following: baby's laundry, prepping food/bottles and cleaning/sanitizing bottles, cleaning up toys/tidying play areas, facilitating naps, keeping areas of kitchen clean that are used for baby.
We are two working professionals. I work from home and my husband goes to the office. We have a separate office from the common spaces in the home. We can discuss how to give you space and autonomy while also allowing for connection with Eleanor intermittently throughout the day. We hope to create a family environment inclusive of our nanny. We have no pets.
