Hello! My husband Ross and I moved to Hickory from Denver, CO in July 2025 and welcomed our baby girl Ellory in February 2026. She is a happy girl and generally pretty easy going. We've found a full-time nanny, but she has some conflicts upcoming, so we're looking for someone who might be able to help us care for Ellory on an as-needed basis. My husband and I both work full-time, so we'd be looking for in-house care during the day (~8:30 - ~4:30) Please see below for the primary dates of coverage we'd be looking for, but we might have some additional one-off coverage needs as well. I work weekend nights Friday, Saturday, Sunday night. 7pm-7am I leave for work at 5:50 and get home at 7:45.
Part-Time Nanny Job: The Harrigan Family with 2 Children
We are looking for a part-time OR full-time Nanny for 2 children in Hickory. Schedule is flexible. Both parents are business owners and both kids are enrolled in school/daycare. Position is for someone willing to help with the times kids are not in school, help with pick ups/drop offs, occasional evening requirements, and potentially overnights for business trips.
Most weeks we will need/require approximately 10 hours of help. Occasionally, we will need 40+ (Example: we take 2 week-long business trips per year, but will likely bring in grandparents for those weeks). We are extremely flexible and are wiling to work with a student with school as a priority.
We would prefer someone who could help out with the following, but not necessary: light housekeeping, errands or grocery shopping, meal preparation and/or homework help.
