Extra responsibilities would include picking up after the baby (toys) and helping wash bottles. We have a 4 y.o. Vizsla/lab mix dog and 1 cat. Our dog loves everyone. No extra responsibility with the pets except to watch the baby around them and make sure she is respectful of the animals. If you like to get outside, the baby loves stroller rides and the dog loves to come along.
