A little about us: I’m a working mom who recently returned to work, and it’s definitely been an adjustment being away from our baby during the day. My husband works from home some days and is in office other days. We are looking for a reliable, caring nanny to help care for our 18-month-old during the work week.
The role is part-time (25–28 hours/week) with the potential to grow into full-time if it’s a great fit. The schedule is:
Mon/Wed: 10am–4pm
Tues/Thurs: 12pm–6pm
Friday: 12pm–4pm
The priority is engaged, attentive care for our toddler while we’re working. During nap time, we’d appreciate help with things like meal prep, dishes, and the baby’s laundry. Someone who can be proactive and keep busy while baby sleeps (as it really helps us at the end of the day).
We also have two older kids (6 and 4). We’ll handle school pickup, and will mostly need help getting them started with snacks/dinner or keeping them entertained until the end of the work-shift up top.

My son Aiden is on the Autism Spectrum. He is high functioning and does not have many special needs other than elopement, meaning if he see's something he likes and/or wants he will run after it with no warning therefore making it a need to hold his hand with a firm grip anytime you are walking with him anywhere. He has limited speech but understands commands and prompts and listens fairly well. My daughter, his little sister is a great help and knows and cares for her brother like no other. I am looking for a mobile nanny to pick up my kids from school in Downey, CA and drive them to my sons ABA therapy in Santa Fe Springs, CA; Mon. Tue, Thur and Fri. My wife or myself will meet you there and take over from there. You will have a 2 hour window between picking them up from school and dropping them off at the ABA location. That time can be used to get something to eat, go to the park/playground and/or library. I will be giving you a credit card for any expenses needed during the time my children are under your care. Both working parents, one hybrid the other onsite. Need some assistance watching our 6 month old a couple of days for a few hours. He is an energetic and fun boy. Laughable, love able, and very charming kiddo. Currently looking at Wednesday and Friday for a few hours from morning to afternoon. Additionally, we would like to meet sitters whom I could potentially call for a date night or other weekday on occasions. Currently between moving from around north san pedro and Downey area. We would like to have help with child care, feeding, educational/fun activities, and hygiene. Driving and maintaining/creating a clean uncluttered house is preferred.
