My husband and I are re-locating to the Montgomery County area and we are looking for a full time nanny for a 2 year old toddler and newborn (6 month old). Both boys. We prefer someone with experience with handling young and multiple children with ease. Schedule will be Monday-Friday beginning at 7am. Some days will be half days and other days will be longer—lasting until 5pm. A few evening and weekend shifts will be needed here and there. Some responsibilities will be caring for and ensuring safety of two children, preparing meals for the toddler, engaging in educational activities, taking toddler to the park/day activities, and doing laundry/light cleaning of room. Our family is looking for a charismatic after school mentor from 2:30 pm-6 pm, M- F for my elementary and middle school boys. We are within walking distance to downtown Bethesda. Responsibilities include:
•Daily school pickup at 3 p.m. of our elementary-aged son (within walking distance from our home – no car needed)
•Homework help (for elementary and middle school ages)
•Afternoon snack prep
•Help to get the kids ready for sports practices
•Laundry once a week (including folding)
•General tidying up of common areas
We are a family of 4, with two school-aged boys, living within walking distance to downtown Bethesda. We have a caring household where we focus on trying our best, learning every day, treating others as we would like to be treated, and having fun.
Our boys enjoy spending time outside, doing many sports and games, playing, reading, and connecting with friends. They also enjoy exploring the area, going on hikes, finding new ice cream shops, and meeting friends at neighborhood parks.
