Babysitter Job: The Love Family with 2 Children
Full-Time Nanny Job: The Colby Family with 2 Children
Part-Time Nanny Job: The GENNA Family with 1 Child
Looking for care for our very happy baby, born August 31 2024 (so I don’t have to update every month with his age). He’s a very smiley babbler at 2 months, pretty easy going and curious about the world.
We are flexible in how we get our care needs met, but have very few hours to offer so a share with another family would likely be best. Starting in January 2025 we will need care Thursdays from 8:30a-6:00p. We have family coverage on Fri/Sat but would like to have backup lined up. Summers will come with slight changes.
Our home is open for care, but we have a senior dog and cat and we understand if that’s not optimal for carer or other families (about them: 15 yo, sweet and lazy mini aussie mix and 15 yo shorthair, both completely ignore the baby other than a sniff if he’s stinky or doing floor time, and manage their own outside time during the day with a doggy door). With that, we are open to considering care outside our home as well.
We are also open to swap equivalent weekly care with another family and are available Tues, Wed, and Sun. Both parents CPR certified and have worked with children in various capacities pre-parenthood, though we are not childcare professionals. If this is something we find ourselves in, care would be provided by mom, Stephanie, but dad, Luke is also home on Sundays. As far as expectations, we believe in minimal screen time for our child and also for us when he is awake, and getting outside at least once per day in all weather.
We would expect our caregiver to be active in our child’s development, be trained for emergencies (we are willing to cover cost of infant CPR/First Aid training), and have a car and be a safe and legal driver to allow for adventures/emergencies outside the home.
