Part-Time Nanny Job: The Lundqvist Family with 1 Child
We live in Ladera Ranch, CA and are looking for a part-time nanny for our 6-month old son. Our family is in the midst of changing work schedules, so we have two scheduling needs to fill (either by two people or the same person).
From August 24 to September 11, we are looking for someone to provide child care all-day Wednesday through Friday. These would be 9.5 hours per work day, from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM (including a paid lunch).
From October 5th onward, we are looking for a long-term nanny to provide childcare on Wednesdays and Thursdays, from 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM each day. This would be a total of 10 hours each week.
Responsibilities include playing with and reading to our son, helping work on milestone developments, feeding bottles and solids (we will prepare the solid food), and taking him on walks. We want you to be able to focus on providing the best care for him, so we do not expect any laundry, cooking, or cleaning responsibilities, with the exception of cleaning up after playtime activities.
Starting rate is $27/hr, with vacation and sick leave also provided. If you think you'd be a good fit for either the August-September and/or long-term (starting in October) time frames, please reach out so we can discuss!

Hi! I am looking for a fun, responsible and loving woman to become part of our household as a mother's helper. This could be a live-in or a live-out position. Your primary responsibilities will be providing companionship to my daughter with special needs, helping with pet care, some housework and running errands. My daughter is caring, compassionate, fun to be around and a bit of a prankster. She is approximately 5 or 6 developmentally but more advanced socially. She loves going on fun adventures outside like nature walks, picnics, the park, the beach and any place with rides, games or animals. She also likes eating out, shopping, volunteer work, playing games, arts and crafts and listening to music. We live in a beautiful neighborhood with a ton of amenities and a golf cart to take everywhere on your adventures. Although the job will mostly be the same schedule, we like to take longer days to go to amusement parks and overnight trips so I am looking for someone with some flexibility in their schedule. If you are looking for a live-in position, you will have your own private bedroom and bath. This job is mostly having fun and playing everyday so a big kid at heart would be best suited for this position :-)
