A little bit about us

This is a Tutor position.
We are seeking a tutor to help provide special ed learning and tutoring support to our 2 Autistic boys.

We live in Old Bridge, New Jersey and we are currently looking to hire a tutor-nanny to help us with their reading, writing and learning activities. Being familiar with special ed teaching or working as a teacher of kids with Autism are the preferred qualifications.
Our boys are not the typical kids that will sit down to learn, they may be able to sit for short periods to complete tasks, so someone who is familiar with special needs kids' learning methods or approaches who can help us with tutoring and engage them effectively is the ideal person.
Our boys are ages 10yrs (5th grade) and 9yrs (3rd grade), both of whom are on the Autism Spectrum.

They both love hugs and tickles and are very energetic and playful. They both love to laugh and to do fun activities.

We believe that being comfortable with (and/or possibly knowledgeable about) kids with Autism/special needs is also a huge plus. We will provide the curriculum and learning materials. Happy to purchase the one advised or recommended, too.

We would like to discuss directly and agree on the weekly hours, duration and curriculum. Saturdays and Sundays are the most available and late night a few week day late evenings will be ideal.
